How-to reset Fortigate password:
1)Connect power supply to fortigate-60 firewall and attached to serial port of the computer.
2)Configure Hyper terminal (proper baud rate and com port, check manual of your fortigate firewall for that)
3)get login: prompt in the Hyperterminal.
4)type Login: maintainer
5)Type password as bcpbFGT-602906523904
6)Here 2906523904 is the serial number of my Fortigate -60 firewall. You change it according to your Firewall's serial number.
7)Mind it!!!! There should not be space between 60 and 2906523904 serial number
8)You will get prompt admin> now
